Westminster College’s Celebrity Series at Home will present its second streamed event this spring by celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Who’s legendary album “Who’s Next” at 8 p.m. Friday, April 30.

“Reflections of Who’s Next,” presented by The Rock Project, will feature some of the greatest hits of legendary rock band The Who in a streamed performance shot live from the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Long Island, New York.

The performance will celebrate The Who’s groundbreaking fifth studio album and will be played track-by-track for guests to enjoy.

Hailed as a greatest album of The Who’s career, the 1971 “Who’s Next” reached number one on the UK’s top 10 chart and number four on the U.S. Billboard chart, eventually reaching triple-platinum status. Even today, 50 years later, “Who’s Next” is still popular with songs like “Baba O’Riley” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again.”

This 50th anniversary concert will also highlight tracks from the band’s other albums with hits like “You Better You Bet,” “Pinball Wizard” and “Long Live Rock.”

The Rock Project features the band Wonderous Stories, guest musicians and Broadway vocalists including Tony Award nominee and “American Idol” contestant Constantine Maroulis, Justin Matthew Sargent from “Rock of Ages” and “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark,” Lana Gordon from “Chicago” and “The Lion King” and Michael Wartella from “Wicked” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”
