Chris Strangfeld received his BA in Communication - Public Relations in 2013 and his MA in Higher Eduction in 2015 from Geneva College. During his time at Geneva, Chris filled various roles in the Theatre Department including Technical Director, Production Manager, Set/Sound/Light Designer, among others. Chris' professional theatrical credits include Front Porch Theatricals (Assistant Stage Manager, 2016; Technical Director, 2017) in Pittsburgh, PA, Comtra Theatre (Musical Director: James and the Giant Peach, Heathers, A Christmas Story, and Next to Normal, 2017-2019) in Cranberry, PA, and Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center and Charter School (Carpenter, Welder, Production Assistant, 2016-2017) in Midland, PA. As Performing Arts Technical Director, Chris teaches technical theatre courses, manages a work study program of approximately 15 students, oversees all technical elements of Beeghly Theatre and Orr Auditorium productions, and frequentily designs sets, sound, and/or lights for main stage and smaller Theatre Westminster productions.
