About Me

Dr. Offner came to Westminster in 2009. His research interests are in combinatorics, graph theory, theoretical computer science, and optimization. Aside from teaching a wide variety of classes, he enjoys mentoring undergraduate researchers and future mathematics educators.  He was the 2015-16 Westminster College McCandless Scholar, and spent 2016-17 as the Shelly Visiting Professor in Mathematical Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University. He is an MAA Project NExT fellow, and is a member of the MAA and AMS.
