Classroom and Event Support Technician

• Assists with maintenance, upkeep, and operation of classroom and event technologies owned by Library and Information Services • Provides troubleshooting as needed to keep all classroom and event technologies operational • Inspects classrooms every other week to ensure proper operation and functionality • Maintains and updates inventory of all circulating and permanently installed equipment • Analyzes and processes equipment reservations from faculty, staff, and students • Participates in equipment setup and tear down upon request • Cross-trains with Desktop Technology Services to ensure proficiency in campus computing • Any other tasks as directed by the Classroom and Event Technology Specialist

Preference is given to work study eligible students but we can hire students that are not work study eligible.
