Sigma Phi Epsilon initiated its local charter at Westminster in 1938. One of the five national social fraternities on campus, it was founded under the principles of virtue, diligence, and brotherly love. For the past 15 years, more men have joined Sigma Phi Epsilon than any other college fraternity. The 'Sig Eps' are among the five largest fraternities in the world and their headquarters is located in Richmond, VA. The 'Eps' require a second-semester first-year student standing and a GPA of 2.0 with payment of national and local dues.
