The Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, better known on campus as the 'Alpha Sigs,' began in 1939 as a way to promote brotherhood and to create leadership and scholarship in the community. One of five national social fraternities at Westminster, the Alpha Nu chapter's members are responsible for paying local and national dues. Prerequisites for membership include a GPA of 2.0 and minimum standing of second-semester first-year student.
