Women’s Basketball: Titans Rank Nationally in Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll

ATLANTA, Ga. - The Westminster College women's basketball team were recently nationally ranked by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) in its Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll for the 2014-15 season.

The Titans, under Head Coach Rosanne Scott, ranked 25th in Division III with a team grade point average of 3.467.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll presented by AT&T annually recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and junior/community college women's basketball programs across that nation that have the highest combined grade point average inclusive of all student-athletes on the roster for the entire season.

CANTON, N.Y. - Westminster College junior Marissa Kalsey (Waynesburg, Pa./Waynesburg) posted a second-place finish and earned her third-straight outdoor All-America citation in women's pole vault Thursday afternoon at the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Westminster College pole vaulters junior Marissa Kalsey (Waynesburg, Pa. / Waynesburg Central) and sophomore Cassidy Shepherd (Greensburg, Pa. / Greensburg Salem) have qualified for the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which will be held Thursday-Saturday, May 21-23 at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York.

GREENVILLE, Pa. - Four members of the Westminster College baseball team were named on the 2015 All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) teams. Senior catcher Jake Haubrich (North Huntingdon, Pa. / Norwin) was named on the first team, sophomore third baseman Sean Coyne (New Castle, Pa. / New Castle) and senior utility player John Jones (New Wilmington, Pa. / Ligonier Valley) were named on the second team, and senior outfielder Duncan Watt (Pickering, Ontario, Canada / Dunbarton) was named on the honorable mention team.
