Outdoor Track & Field: Kalsey Earns Third All-America Honor at 2015 Nationals

CANTON, N.Y. - Westminster College junior Marissa Kalsey (Waynesburg, Pa./Waynesburg) posted a second-place finish and earned her third-straight outdoor All-America citation in women's pole vault Thursday afternoon at the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Westminster College pole vaulters junior Marissa Kalsey (Waynesburg, Pa. / Waynesburg Central) and sophomore Cassidy Shepherd (Greensburg, Pa. / Greensburg Salem) have qualified for the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which will be held Thursday-Saturday, May 21-23 at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York.

GREENVILLE, Pa. - Four members of the Westminster College baseball team were named on the 2015 All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) teams. Senior catcher Jake Haubrich (North Huntingdon, Pa. / Norwin) was named on the first team, sophomore third baseman Sean Coyne (New Castle, Pa. / New Castle) and senior utility player John Jones (New Wilmington, Pa. / Ligonier Valley) were named on the second team, and senior outfielder Duncan Watt (Pickering, Ontario, Canada / Dunbarton) was named on the honorable mention team.

GREENVILLE, Pa. - Five members of the Westminster College softball team were named on the All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) teams. Junior catcher Lexi Sheffer (Seneca, Pa. / Cranberry), sophomore third baseman Emily Lindsey (Freeport, Pa. / Freeport), first-year outfielder Nicole Anderson (Oakmont, Pa. / Riverview), first-year utility player Addie Dieterich (Purcellville, Va. / Loudoun Valley), and junior pitcher Amber Forrest (Clear Spring, Md. / Clear Spring) were all named on the All-PAC second team.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College softball team swept the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg at home on Monday in the Titans' season finale. The Titans won 5-4 over the Bobcats in game one and junior Amber Forrest (Clear Spring, MD / Clear Spring) tossed a three-hit-shutout in Westminster's 5-0 win in game two.
