Westminster College Celebrates Homecoming & Reunion Weekend, Oct. 13-15

Westminster College will celebrate its annual Homecoming and Reunion Weekend Oct. 13-15 with a variety of activities.

Friday’s schedule includes campus tours; archives displays at Wiley Alumni House and McGill library; Golden Tower Society hospitality area for alumni from 1930-1967; and the Alumni Council’s awards reception and dinner.

The Tiny House Dedication ceremony also happens on Friday from 4:30-5 p.m. at the intersection of Prospect St. and College Dr. Join the Westminster Tiny House Team, the New Castle School of Trades students and instructors, and supporters of the project in celebrating the completion of the Tiny House.

Saturday is a full day including the annual Homecoming Parade on South Market St. beginning at 10:30 a.m. This year’s theme is “THROWBACKS.” Also, come watch the Titans take on the Grove City Wolverines in at 1 p.m. in Burry Stadium.

Other events for the day include a carillon performance by Paula Kubik; a worship service led by the Class of 1967; reunion luncheons, dinners and photos; decade tents; dedication of the Dar Huey Conference Room; and crowning of Homecoming royalty.

Sunday features meditation walks at the Sandy Edmiston Memorial Labyrinth and evening vespers.
