Sponsored by the Springfield Restaurant Group and Sharon Regional Hospital, Westminster College Celebrity Series presents The Doo Wop Project live in concert on Saturday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Will W. Orr Auditorium at Westminster College. Single tickets start at $33.

The Doo Wop Project traces the evolution of Doo Wop from the classic sound of five guys singing tight harmonies on a street corner to the biggest hits on the radio today.  Backed up by a full band, the Doo Wop Project takes audiences on a journey from tunes of groups like the Crests, Belmonts, and Flamingos through influences of the sounds of Smokey Robinson, The Temptations and The Four Seasons, all the way to Michael Jackson, Jason Mraz and Amy Winehouse.

Featuring current and former stars of Broadway’s smash hits Jersey Boys and Motown: The Musical, the Doo Wop Project brings unparalleled authenticity of sound and vocal excellence to recreate—and in some cases entirely reimagine—some of the best-loved music in American pop and rock history.
