Westminster College Honors Employees for Retirement, Years of Service

Westminster College honored nearly 40 employees for their retirement and years of service at a luncheon in May.

Retirees are: Diane Drabick, technical assistant in McGill Library; Dr. Richard Dorman, president of Westminster; Mary Elchison, secretary in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science; Luann Hilke, applications processor and office manager in the Office of Admissions; Sally Huey, director of the Learning Center; Carol Mounts, coordinator of gift processing in the Office of Institutional Advancement; David Smith, associate professor of accounting; Dr. Richard Sprow, professor of English, who was also honored for 40 years of service; and Mark “Tom” Taylor, director of institutional grants.

Those honored for years of service are:

40 yearsDr. Darwin Huey, professor of education.

35 yearsDr. David Barner, professor of broadcast communications, and Kathleen Suosio, secretary in the Office of Student Affairs.

30 yearsDavid “Craig” McCann, custodial supervisor.

25 yearsCynthia Dafler, assistant director of alumni relations.

20 yearsDr. Edward Cohen, professor of political science; Peggy Flynn, academic administrative assistant in the School of Music; Dr. Russell Martin, professor of history; and Jan Reddinger, head softball coach.

15 yearsAnn Badger, secretary in the Office of Institutional Advancement; Dr. Anne Bentz, associate professor of music; Dr. Helen Boylan Funari, professor of chemistry; Dr. Amy Camardese, associate professor of education; Dr. Craig Caylor, associate professor of physics; Branislav Cikel, senior systems engineer and operations manager in library and information services; Dr. Joshua Corrette-Bennett, associate professor of biology; Dr. Bethany Hicok, professor of English; Jeannette Hubbard, director of diversity services; Dr. Scott Mackenzie, professor of theatre; Rosanne Scott, head women’s basketball coach; and Natalie Yingling, associate director of admissions.

10 yearsDr. Marosh Furimsky, associate professor of biology; Diane Gabriel, executive secretary in the Office of Faith and Spirituality; Misty Motter, assistant athletic trainer; David Peluso, systems analyst in library and information services; Dr. Pamela Richardson, associate professor of mathematics; Dorothy Tomich-Domenick, custodian; and Gina Vance, associate dean of student affairs.
