According to the most recent rankings conducted by Washington Monthly, Westminster College ranked in two categories: “Best Liberal Arts College” and “Best Bang for the Buck.”

Westminster ranked number 106 in the nation in the “Best Liberal Arts Colleges” category. Washington Monthly ranked schools based upon the following three criteria: social mobility (recruiting and graduating low-income students), research (producing cutting-edge scholarship), and service (encouraging students to give something back to their country).

Among 402 schools included in the “Best Bang for the Buck” listing in the Northeast region, Westminster ranked number 62. For this category, Washington Monthly rated schools based on their “contribution to the public good,” including: loan default rate, graduation rate, graduation rate performance, percent of Pell Grant students, and net price of attendance.

Established in 1969, Washington Monthly is a publication that covers politics, government, culture and the media.
