Dorothy the Dinosaur's Dance Party Coming to Westminster

Posted on Tuesday, October 10, 2006

Dorothy the Dinosaur's Dance Party, featuring the Wiggles' best friends, will perform Thursday, Oct. 26, at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium at Westminster College.

"We are thrilled to present Dorothy the Dinosaur on her first solo U.S.A. tour," said Connie McGinnis, assistant director of the Westminster College Celebrity Series. "I can't imagine anyone with a child under the age of six who doesn't know Dorothy the Dinosaur. Dorothy's Dance Party is like a rock concert for kids - there will be dancing and singing in the aisles. The Wiggles music is just plain fun and pure family entertainment at its best."

Dorothy will be joined by the Wiggles' best friends, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog, and Henry the Octopus, performing some of their best-loved songs including "Fruit Salad," "Romp Bomp a Stomp," and "Hot Potato."

This show is not part of the regular shows included for Celebrity Series season ticket holders and tickets are required for all children over the age of one. Good seats are still available and cost $9, $13, or $19. Contact McGinnis at (724) 946-7354 or e-mail mcginncl@westminster.edu or visit www.westminster.edu/Celebrity for more information.
