Single Room Drawing

Students wishing to live in a designed single room next year should participate in this portion of the housing selection process. There are a limited number of designed single rooms on campus, and they are assigned by class level. Designed single rooms will cost approximately an additional $440 per semester. Remember, this drawing is for rooms that were originally designed to accommodate one student.

Squatter's Rights

Participate in this process only if you want to live in your current room next year. In order to squat a room, rooms must be filled to capacity. This means that double rooms must have two students living in them and Eichenauer suites must have four students living in them. All prospective roommates must currently live in the same residence hall, and at least one of the prospective roommates must currently reside in the room to be selected for next year. Remember, single rooms cannot be squatted.

To squat a room, complete the short "Squatter's Application" that requires all prospective roommate signatures and turn it in by the specified deadline.

Date: Squatter's Applications will be available online in February 2013. Applications are due to the Student Affairs Office by 4:30pm on Friday, March 18, 2013. Failure to submit an application by this deadline will require students to participate in open room drawing.

Triples, Quads Room Drawing

This drawing is for rooms that are designed for three or four occupants. In order to select a triple or quad, occupants must be able to fill the room. NOTE: Eichenauer Hall suites are not considered quad rooms. Students wishing to live in Eichenauer should attend Double Room Draw.
