School District Survey
In 1996, SIFE team
members tabulated results of a survey aimed at teacher contract negotiations.
The results would be used regarding teachers salaries and health insurance
benefits. SIFE team members entered the survey responses into a computer
data base and prepared graphical representations of the data. The
survey itself provided documentation of the perceptions of taxpayers regarding
teachers' salaries and fringe benefits relative to their own. Results
were printed in local newspapers and future projects like this one are
under negotiations.
