Altmire & English vote against revised Wall Street resuce

WASHINGTON, D.C.--U.S. Congressmen Jason Altmire and Phil English stand firmly against the $700-billion Wall Street emergency rescue bill passed by Congress on Friday. Only 171 congressional members voted against this version of the bill that failed the house earlier this week. Altmire, representing Pennsylvania's 4th Congressional District which includes parts of Lawrence and Mercer counties, says he does not want to throw money at a problem created by greedy Wall Street. more |
