H1N1 Update

To the Campus Community:

Today was a much better day here at the Health Center. We tested three students for influenza and only one student tested positive for influenza. That student has gone home to recover.

We are continuing to wait to hear about the tests we sent for the H1N1 virus. I will keep you updated when we get these results.

Today I spoke with Jodi Skiba from the local office of the Department of Health. Her suggestion to students to help avoid illness is to not only wash their hands frequently, but also to carry disinfectant wipes to clean the desks when they go into class.
