Project Malawi is an ongoing project that was developed for the service learning component of BIO 113: Biology of Infectious Disease (click HERE to see a copy of the syllabus)

We have been working with our community partner; Ms. Wezzie Osman, from Kalibu Academy, Blantyre, Malawi, on Project Malawi for two years. The goal of the project is for students of BIO 113 to learn about the scientific process and about microbiology by making hands-on kits for microbiology lab classes at Kalibu Academy.
