Dr. Perttu's "Toccata" for duo piano was recently published by Editions Musica Ferrum in Athens, Greece. "Tarantella Folli" for clarinet and piano will soon be published by them.

Dr. Perttu's recent recent recording "Gloamin" came out in September, 2012 on the Navona Records album entitled Lock & Key. Another CD with "Mountain Twilight" will be released by Navona soon.

Dr. Perttu's recent overture for orchestra, Light and Shadow in the Yosemite Valley, was released by Navona Records in April, 2011.

Since February 2012, Dr. Perttu's compositions have been performed in Ohio, Alabama, Kentucky, Texas, Virginia, Illinois, New York, New Mexico, Georgia, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, and Oklahoma.

Dr. Perttu's composition for two pianos, Toccata for Piano Duo, was performed at the New Music Festival at Denison University and Three Draconian Dames was premiered at a New Music Festival at the University of Alabama at Huntsville. Other conference performances include the Society of Composers Region IV Conference (The Storr of Trotternish), Region VI Conference (Tarantella Folli), Region III Conference (Three Draconian Dames), the College Music Society Midwest Regional Conference (A Scottish Triptych), Northeast Regional Conference (Toccata for Piano), and South Central Regional Conference (A Scottish Triptych).
