Auditing is a study of auditing objectives, standards, and procedures employed in the examination of business enterprises and verification of their financial statements. Students are introduced to the evaluation of internal control, preparation of work papers, report writing, professional ethics, and current auditing trends.

Field Trip to Carbis Walker in New Castle, PA
Thanks to all the Carbis Walker staff and James Hunt, CPA, Carbis Walker Managing Partner. Westminster students enjoyed a very informative meeting reviewing both Carbis Walker's company philosophy and the ever changing field of auditing. After Mr. Hunt's presentation, students shared a delicious lunch with various CW accounting staff, managers and partners. It was an invaluable experience to speak one-on-one and network with accountants currently involved in the area of auditing.
