Group communication is a class I have had the pleasure of teaching a number of time in the past. More and more employers are citing the need to work well with others in a group and team environments as a necessary skill. There isn't one aspect of your personal, academic, or professional life than cannot be enhanced by developing skills in this area.

For this class, the focus will be on developing group communication skills within the context of problem solving. Early in the semester, groups will be formed and the process of woking on a problem will begin.

The class will move step-by-step through the process with the introduction of new material each week.

In class time will be spent mostly on exercises that are designed to demonstrate the principles we are covering.
