Program Goals
|
|
|
To
enhance sustainability education for K-12 students and teachers by
making resources available to the 53 school districts served by
Westminster College’s Science in Motion program.
Make
Sustainability education an integral part of pre service teacher
development programming at Westminster College by embedding the
curriculum materials in the Education department’s Elementary and
Secondary Methods Courses.
Improve
awareness
of
sustainability
issues
for
Westminster
students
by
integrating
concepts of hands-on experiences related to sustainability,
with an emphasis on solar energy and technologies, into the Liberal
Arts curriculum at Westminster College.
