The International Collegiate Programming Contest provides college students with opportunities to interact with students from other universities and to sharpen and demonstrate their problem-solving, programming, and teamwork skills.
The Finals began in 1977 (won by Michigan State University) and have continued every year since. I have been fortunate to serve as a judge for the World Finals since 2002.
