Duties:
• Setup and deploy new equipment. • Install Software. • Troubleshoot Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Tablets, Mobile Devices, Software, and any other computer related technology Hardware. • Troubleshoot software issues including Microsoft Office, Operating Systems, Adobe Products, Classroom related software like SPSS, ArcGIS, and tax software. This includes removing malware and viruses. • Providing technical support to Student owned devices. • Answer phones and emails. • Deliver and retrieve mail between LIS-Hoyt and LIS-Thompson Clark. • Be able to move equipment upon request (Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Tablets, Mobile Devices, Software, and any other computer related technology Hardware.) • Check in and check out Classroom and Event support related equipment to users.

Qualifications/Skills:
There are no computer skills or knowledge prerequisites needed. We will teach everything that is needed. We are looking for people who are willing to work and complete task correctly and in a timely manner. Good communication skills and organization skills is a must. Techs need to be personable and provide great customer service.

Student workers need to understand that we support the campus and that staff and faculty are counting on us to do our job so they can keep doing their jobs.
