Duties: This position works with the Technical Operations manager, Gary Swanson, to schedule and single camera video capture events not covered by BC classroom activities for web and cable TV rebroadcast. Single camera productions include but are not limited to: away Titan football games; home basketball games that fall over winter break; and some special college events. Availability is needed for particular dates over the winter break. Travel is provided on the team buses. The local events producer should be a leader in the remote broadcasts and aide in their effective functionality to provide quality broadcasts. Work includes scheduling and operation of all necessary equipment prior to and during each event, any required post-production, and coordination with programming coordinators to ensure timely broadcast and archive for rebroadcast as necessary. Qualifications/Skills: The position requires broadcast production skills, troubleshooting, maintenance, and communication talents, and exercises substantial judgment and initiative.
