This particular position serves in a general assistance role to all AV student managers. Introductory training starts broad and provides a progressionary path for the Student Assistant to eventually move into an appropriate Student Manager role. Duties for this position include office tasks, such as lamination, format transfers, and equipment set ups, as well as various assignments from all other AV domains.
You do not have to have prior experience, but do need motivation for learning about presentation technology, media services, and possess a passion for excellent customer service. The position enhances technical, communication, collaboration, scheduling, and computer skills. It also provides considerable occasions to develop interpersonal abilities, leadership, management, planning, and problem solving skills, as well as sharpen professionalism and self-confidence. Introductory training starts broad and provides a progressionary path to eventually move into a manager’s role.
