Titan Card

What is a Titan Card and why do I need one?

It is your personal identification card, your meal card, your residence hall key and your campus debit card all rolled into one. The Titan Card works like a credit card because you don't have to carry cash. But it's better than a credit card because you deposit money-known as Titan Dollars-into your account in advance, so you don't have to worry about paying the bill at the end of the month. You also eliminate finance charges.

As a debit card it can be used for purchases at Duff Student Restaurant, the TUB, the Titan Club (WOW), the Bookstore, the Titan Gift Shop, AV Services and all on-campus vending machines. It can also be used to pay fees at the Registrar’s Office and at the Information Desk for parking permits and parking fines. Finally, it is the student's general identification both on and off-campus. Sheetz on Wilmington Road in Neshannock Township now accepts Titan Dollars for purchases (excludes tobacco and alcohol).

How do I deposit money on my Titan Card?

Account deposits may be made by cash, check or money order at the Titan Card Office in McKelvey Campus Center during regular business hours. Titan Card deposits may also be made via CASHNet by choosing payment option: TCARDDEP. Deposits may also be mailed by students, parents, other family members, and friends to the Titan Card Office, McKelvey Campus Center, Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA 16172.

Please note:  Additional Dine Dollars must be added in person at the Titan Card Office.  To pay for Additional Flex Dollars via CASHNet, choose payment option:  PAYBILL

Checks returned by any bank as uncollectible are subject to all check collection procedures of the College including, but not limited to, assessing the Cardholder's Westminster College student account for service fees and any funds already spent. Deposits will be carried over each summer until the Cardholder graduates or formally withdraws.

How do I use my Titan Card?

Your Titan Card is needed when you eat in Duff Student Restaurant, the TUB, the Titan Club (WOW). Your card is encoded with the total available Flex Dollars based on the meal plan you choose. At every meal your card is swiped, the appropriate amount is deducted, and the cashier can let you know the balance of Flex Dollars you have remaining on your meal plan.

The balance on your Titan Card can be used at Duff Student Restaurant, the TUB, the Titan Club (WOW), the Bookstore, Titan Gift Shop, on-campus vending machines, the Registrar’s Office, AV Services, Security (Information Desk) and the Titan Card Office. To make your purchase, give your Titan Card to the cashier or swipe the card through the card reader on the vending machine or copier and the appropriate amount will be deducted from your balance.

Your Titan Card also serves as your library card and is needed to check out materials from the library.

All residence halls have keyless entry main doors. This means in order to enter the residence hall you will need your Titan Card to unlock the door.

You are required to carry your Titan Card, at all times when you are on campus, for identification purposes. It will also be requested for admittance to athletic and cultural events.

What if I lose my Titan Card?

You are responsible for immediately reporting a lost or stolen card. The card can be reported missing and its on-line services de-activated at any Titan Card location during regular hours of operation.

You will not be held responsible for any unauthorized transaction which occurs after the College has been notified of a lost, stolen, or possible unauthorized use of the card.

Replacement cards are available from the Titan Card Office for a $20 fee. Titan Dollars may be used to purchase replacement cards.

Can I withdraw cash from my Titan Card account?

The Titan Card can be used to purchase items at the Bookstore, Titan Gift Shop, the TUB, Duff Student Restaurant, Titan Club (Wow) and campus beverage and snack vending machines, and to pay fines or fees, but it is not a bank account from which money can be withdrawn. Funds unspent at the end of an academic year automatically carry forward to the next year. Funds on account when the student graduates or withdraws from the College will be returned to the student within 60 days of their withdrawal/graduation (provided they have no financial obligations due to the College).  Click on link for more information on the Titan Card.

How do I know my Titan Card balance?
