Instructions for uploading movie to Vimeo
  1. Go to http://vimeo.com.
  2. Click on "Sign up for Vimeo."
  3. Sign up for a "basic" account.
  4. Enter the requested information & review the terms of service, then click to continue.
  5. You will receive an e-mail shortly. Click "Complete Your Registration."
  6. Review the Vimeo basics.
  7. Upload your video.
  8. Set privacy settings to "require password" and enter a unique password. (You will need to submit this password in the "Movie Password" field below.)
  9. Save the changes, and wait for an e-mail that your video is ready for viewing.

Remember -- Your entry must remain private until after the showcase. Any entry publicly released prior to the project showcase may be disqualified from the competition.

Project team members

Every person that participated in any way with your production project must be listed on your project team list. Each project team member will receive an e-mail notification of their rights in regard to your project entry. If a project team member is under 18 years of age, you must include their legal parent or guardian as a project team member as well. Should any team member elect to opt out of your project prior to the project showcase, your project will no longer be eligible for entry or consideration. The text of this agreement is as follows:

[Principle contact] has submitted your name and email address as recognition of your participation on the Titan Terror Project entitled [Project Title].

This action gives the Audio Visual Services department (hereinafter referred to as WCAV), Communication Studies Theater and Art department (hereinafter referred to as CSTA) and Westminster College, its legal representatives or assigns, those for whom WCAV and CSTA are acting with their permission, or its employees, the right and permission to copyright and/or use, re use and/or display or publish, republish, or distribute electronically, webcast or stream via the Internet, photographs and/or video images and/or audio recordings of or submitted by [Principle contact], in conjunction with reproductions thereof in color, or black and white made through any media by Westminster College, for any purpose whatsoever, including the use of any printed matter in conjunction therewith.

This action, unless you opt out, means you hereby waive any right to approve or require alteration to the finished photographs, video images or audio recordings or advertising copy or printed matter that may be used in conjunction therewith or the eventual use to which it might be applied. You also release, discharge and agree to hold harmless WCAV, CSTA, its representatives, assigns, employees or any person or persons, corporation or corporations, acting under its permission or authority, or any person, persons, corporation or corporations for whom it might be acting, including any firm publishing and/or distributing or exhibiting the finished product, in whole or in part, from and against any liability as a result of any distortion, blurring, or alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form, either intentionally or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the taking, processing or reproduction of the finished product, its publication, distribution, or exhibition of the same.

[Principle contact] has certified that you are over eighteen years of age and competent to contract in your own name in so far as the above is concerned, or if under 18, has communicated this agreement with your legal parent or guardian to accept or opt out on your behalf.

If you accept this agreement, no further action is required. If however, you wish to opt out of this agreement and disqualify the [project title] from all consideration, you must forward this email message to avstaff@westminster.edu with the words "OPTING OUT" followed by your name within 7 days of the date on this email.
