Smart Classrooms

Westminster Smart Classrooms

Faculty, staff, and students may obtain reservation information for all Westminster smart classrooms through the Registrar's office.

(College policy requires that students have a faculty member present during their use of any smart classroom facility on campus.)

AV Smart Classroom (McKelvey 180)

The Audio Visual Classroom is available for training, experimentation, and presentation on a scheduled basis through AV Services. This fully equipped "Smart" classroom contains desks for 30. Faculty, staff, and students may reserve this room by completing a Reservation Request Form.



AV Smart Classroom Policies

  • Only certified operators may use this room. Training is available by contacting A.V. Services.
  • Please - no food or drinks in the room.
  • A.V. does not provide keys to the room or equipment. Please make proper arrangements to acquire keys through Public Safety & Security in advance of your reservation date.
  • Please power down all equipment, close all windows, lower the blinds, and turn off all lights prior to exiting the room.

Portable Smart Classrooms

Portable Smart Classrooms (PSCs) are available for faculty/academic use in each of Westminster's academic buildings. These units are located in self-serve storage locations.  PSCs must be reserved in advance, and require user training for set-up and operation.

Flat Panel Carts

Flat Panel Carts (FPCs) are available for academic use in Hoyt Science Center or by reservation.  The FPC displays images on a 42” LCD monitor and comes with a mobile cart, document camera, Blu-ray player, and cables (VGA, mini-audio and HDMI) to connect other capable devices, including laptops (not included).
