The Titan Terror Project Showcase returns to Westminster College on October 15th in Mueller Theater from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. as part of Audio Visual Service's AV WEEK.
The culmination of the Titan Terror Project, the showcase has set attendance records each year as the top ten entries are revealed for the first time.
Last year, over 100 students and faculty packed into Mueller Theater and many more students, faculty, staff and Pennsylvania residents joined the live webcast to view final 10 entries and see who would walk away with over $500 in prizes. This year the contest was open to any high school, junior high or middle school student in Pennsylvania or Ohio as well as those affiliated with Westminster College.
Audience Choice winner from 2012, Stephen Bendig loves the pressure of showing off the final production in front of a live, critical audience.
"Having won the Audience Choice award, I feel like I need to live up to a certain standard," said Stephen Bendig. "Last year there was a lot of built up anticipation, but this year I am hopeful to win the Audience Choice award again, or even the grand prize."
Besides revealing the top ten entries for the first time, "Westmonster" awards will be given to first place, runner-up, and a live audience choice selected at the event. This year there will also be another winner for the short film producer that acquires the most likes on Facebook by sharing their video from the Audio Visual Services Facebook page up until Halloween night.
There will be LOTS of free pizza, door prizes, fun, and "terrorific" prizes for winners of this excellent contest. Drop in for a scare, but come early, as seats will be disappearing quickly!
