It's back! Entries are rolling in for the creepiest 3 minute mini movie contest ever...Titan Terror 4! WCN, Titan Radio (88.9 FM) and Audio Visual Services remind you to complete and send in your entry before the "undead-line" of September 28th!
The Titan Terror Project is an extemely popular short film contest and showcase, requiring producers to create a thrilling or mysterious video without the use of graphic violence or gore, challenging film makers to use a wide array of tactics to engage their audience.
Last year, over 100 students and faculty packed into Mueller Theater while many more joined the live webcast to view the top 10 entries and see who would walk away with over $500 in prizes. The showcase was part of Westminster's annual AV Week celebration, October 12th through the 19th.
The contest entry has no charge and welcomes filmmakers of all experience levels. Titan Terror 4 is open to any middle and high school student in Pennsylvania and Ohio, and of course all Westminster faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
REMEMBER: The "undeadline" is midnight Friday, September 28th. The online, electronic entry form can be found here.
The Titan Terror Project 4 showcase will be held in Mueller Theater on Tuesday, October 15 at 12:45 pm. The top ten entries will be revealed for the first time, and "Westmonster" awards will be given to first place, runner-up, and a live audience choice selected at the event. Once again this year there will be a live stream of this event for those who cannot attend or are unable to find a seat the day of the show.
This year promises even more food, fun, and "terrorific" prizes for entrants and attendees. Follow us on Facebook to see how you could win!
BUT WAIT...THERE'S MORE! Following the showcase, the top 10 entries will be posted on the AV Facebook page for fans to vote for their favorite video. The mini movie with the most likes will win a special prize package that will be awarded on Halloween, October 31st.
