Audio Visual Services opened its doors to the entire campus on Monday, October 15 for their first event of AV Week. During the Open House, patrons enjoyed food and drinks, toured the department, and watched the ribbon cutting of the AV museum.
Students and faculty interacted with AV staff while they snacked on Tavern sticky buns and Starbucks' coffee. Attendees were also given the chance to win a Crane Room giftcard.
There was a steady stream of patrons all morning. Even though this was the first year for the Open House, the AV staff feels that it was a great success. "It was amazing to see how many people came out to support AV week and to warm up on a cold day with some coffee and sticky buns," said Assistant Director, Katie Bittner. "Opening the department to the public brought in some people that wouldn't otherwise have a chance to experience AV."
AV week continues until Saturday, October 20. A complete line-up of events can be found here.
