As part of Westminster College's AV WEEK celebration, Todd F. Morando MBA, MSN, PHRN, RN, Sr. Director of Emergency and Critical Care at Sharon Regional Health System will be presenting about new medical technology on Tuesday, October 16th from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in the AV Classroom, MCC 180 of the McKelvey Campus Center.
Mr. Morando and Stacey Winners, a correspondent from the Cleveland Clinic will present on the use of telemedicine in the health care field. Telemedicine: Communicating for Effective Healthcare will illustrate how telemedicine incorporates a webcam and software to empower patients to communicate from a remote location with specialists at another hospital. Telemedicine also allows patients and doctors to interactively review and discuss test results.
This presentation is a great opportunity for those interested in the medical field and there will be a chance to ask questions after the demonstration. Prizes will be available for those in attendance.
