Prepare to be scared! Come to The Titan Terror Project Showcase, scheduled for Thursday, October 18th from 12:45pm to 1:45pm in Westminster College's Mueller Theater.
This short film contest and showcase requires a thrilling or mysterious three-minute mini-movie without the use of graphic violence and gore. Our many entrants have told us a story, without the gore, and our judges have made their selections.
The top ten will be revealed for the first time at the showcase, hosted by WCN (Westminster Cable Network), Titan Radio (88.9 FM) and Audio Visual Services, and sponsored by many generous donors. Hundreds of dollars worth of prizes are available for our Grand Prize, Runner Up and Audience Choice winners, as well as for many of those in attendance!
The Titan Terror Showcase has quickly become one of those DON'T MISS IT events at Westminster, and the public is welcome to attend this free, fun event.
The showcase will also be broadcast to a worldwide audience thanks to Westminster's Broadcast Communications department. Folks who can't attend in person can view the show live by following this link: http://meridix.com/everywhere.php?liveid=WestminsterCollegePA&x=0&y=0.
(Go to the site and click the green "Watch Live" button at the top of the page. For those viewing after the event, visit the site and look under Recent Results for the Titan Terror Showcase.)
Donors include Armstrong, The Crane Room, Celebrity Series, InfoComm, Pittsburgh Tribune, Gorilla Joe Printing Company, Starbucks, The Tavern on the Sqare, Westminster College Celebrity Series, and more!
Last year's Grand Prize winner was Westminster undergrad, Joe Ligo and Ambassador Films Crew (Kyle Grabigel, Andrea Tice, Richard Ligo, Brad Weaver, Eric Forester, Robert Mara) for the production of their film, "Interrupted".
