Westminster College Audio Visual Services department has promoted two current staff members to managerial positions. Jacob Brown has been promoted from Assistant Technical Support Manager to Technical Support Manager and Brad Steward, former Support Technician, has been named Assistant Technical Support Manager.
"I want to keep learning as much as I can through this office, and am excited for the additional opportunity this presents," said Steward. Steward is a junior Computer Information Systems major from Oakdale, Pa.
These positions are responsible for ensuring that all equipment owned and operated by Audio Visual Services runs efficiently with as little inconvenience to faculty and patrons as possible. They primarily monitor SMART classrooms and all AV owned presentation technology, providing in-classroom support for students and staff in the Westminster academic community as well as departmental troubleshooting. "I am very thankful to be given this opportunity so early in my AV career. I hope to use this new role to better my technical, personal and leadership skills," said Brown. Brown is a junior Accounting major from North Benton, Ohio.
