The 2011 AV Week closed with a terrific presentation by Shawn Sweeny, of Sweeny Photography in Grove City who talked about common errors photographers make and how to overcome them.
The presentation, "Digital Photography Seminar: Myths and Misconceptions" took place in the AV classroom and was directed at amateur photographers seeking to improve their image capture.
Sweeny is a member of the prestigious Professional Photographers of America, and a member of the chamber of commerce for both New Wilmington and Grove City.
He led a very informative session on lighting techniques, getting the most out of your camera, and overcoming common problems.
The attendees viewed several vivid examples and stayed long after while Sweeny welcomed questions offered encouragement.
Westminster College's Audio Visual Department joined InfoComm International in its AV Week tradition to highlight the industry's prevalence and value, applauding our colleagues here and around the globe by spotlighting AV technologies, services, and the impact they have on everyday communications and our lives. This year marked the 6th annual AV Week at Westminster College, held October 16-22, 2011.
