AV Week Attendees Learn How Campuses are Reaching Beyond Their Walls

Monday, October 31, 2011

Thursday's presentation in the AV Classroom on "Record-Deliver-Watch-Manage: Lecture Capture 101" explored how schools are electronically capturing events and sharing them to a variety of audiences.

Lectures, presentations, special events, training, alum relations video communications and other events can be recorded easily so that they can be "automagically" formatted and redistributed through sophisticated yet easy to use software applications.

John Caswell from Mediasite provided a broad overview of the exciting opportunities these applications present and showcased how they are revolutionizing education for small and large campuses nationwide.

Westminster College's Audio Visual Department joined InfoComm International in its AV Week tradition to highlight the industry's prevalence and value, applauding our colleagues here and around the globe by spotlighting AV technologies, services, and the impact they have on everyday communications and our lives. This year marked the 6th annual AV Week at Westminster College, held October 16-22, 2011.
