TRICASTER Wows Capacity Crowd

Monday, October 31, 2011

Attendees of "Tricasting: Delivering Network Quality Broadcasts from Anywhere- to Anywhere" late Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in the AV Classroom, were informed about capturing an event professionally and distributing it to every possible viewing device.

The device, simply called a Tricaster, can be set up in a matter of minutes and includes multiple camera and playback connections, internal DVR decks, high-end graphics, special effects and virtual sets wowed the capacity crowd.

Jim Davis from DVS Direct demonstrated this compact, portable system, illustrating how it has become the industry standard in portable live television production for major networks and small production houses.

Westminster College's Audio Visual Department joined InfoComm International in its AV Week tradition to highlight the industry's prevalence and value, applauding our colleagues here and around the globe by spotlighting AV technologies, services, and the impact they have on everyday communications and our lives. This year marked the 6th annual AV Week at Westminster College, held October 16-22, 2011.
