About the Contest

The Audio Visual Department at Westminster College invites all photographers to submit images for a chance to be both published on the department's website, Facebook page, annual calendar and hallway display for the entire campus to see. Photography is an artistic medium that deserves recognition. This is a great opportunity for individuals of varying photography skill levels to showcase their talents.

Submission

---

Photographers can submit as many as 10 images each month that pertain to Westminster College in some way. Images containing nudity or offensive material are not welcomed. Images are due by 6 p.m. on the 20th of each month. Submissions can be made at http://www.westminster.edu/av/iotm. Photographers need not be registered or affiliated with Westminster College.

Voting

---

Entries are voted on by the AV staff and "liked" by AV Facebook followers in order to determine the winner. One image is chosen for publication and featured throughout the month.

AV invites you to join us in encouraging photography and asks for your sponsorship. Your support is greatly appreciated and will help AV continue to provide an opportunity for students and community members alike to showcase their work. How to Sponsor

Image of the Month sponsors are asked to donate $25 or more in the form of gift cards or product with an equivalent value. We recommend sponsoring for a three-month period in order to maximize your campus and community exposure. As sponsor, we guarantee that your company’s information will appear on the:

• AV Services Website (http://www.westminster.edu/av) that month with a hyperlink to your individual website
  • The Westminster website receives an average of 382,000 hits per day.
• AV Calendar
  • Reaches over 200 people (faculty, students, alumni, and community)
• Image of the Month reminder and winner emails sent to all students and faculty for that month
  • Reaching over 1800 people
• Westminster Weekly (email newsletter)
  • Reaching over 2300 people (on and off campus)
• AV Facebook page
  • Over 200 "likes" from faculty, students, alumni and community
• Press releases, flyers and news stories put out for Image of the Month for that month
• Posters (24x36) displayed in the AV Office and the Dining Hall
