About Me

My path to teaching Human Anatomy was indirect.  I received my Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Lock Haven University in Eastern PA, and then earned my Master’s Degree in Biology (fisheries management) from Iowa State University.  While teaching Intro to Biology courses at Clarion University’s Venango College, I was given the opportunity to teach Human Anatomy and Physiology to students entering the medical field. This experience ignited a new passion. I love trying to find interesting ways to help students understand complex biological processes.  I am excited and honored to teach Foundations of Anatomy and Physiology to students interested in entering the nursing field, and hope my enthusiasm helps them with their goal to be an essential health care provider, or wherever their path takes them.
