NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Dr. Jane Wood, Westminster College vice president for academic affairs and dean of the College, is one of 18 senior academic administrators in higher education nationwide selected by the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) to participate in the 2014 Colloquium on Leadership for Chief Academic Officers (CAO).
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College alumna Paige Turk `84, human resources director of Flynn's Tire Group, along with local professionals Marcie Patton and Colleen Chamberlain, spoke to Westminster students in February about their experiences in the human resources and organizational development fields.
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Dr. Daniel Perttu, Westminster College assistant professor of music theory and composition, recently had his composition, "Mountain Twilight," released on Navona Records in February. The composition is part of a larger album titled Foundations.
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - "Networking 101," an alumni dessert reception and panel discussion focusing on proper networking techniques, will be offered to Westminster College students 7-8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, in the Lakeview Dining Room of the McKelvey Campus Center.
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College's Department of Communication Studies, Theatre and Art will host an art gallery opening and reception for Westminster senior fine art major Steve Totin from 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 4 at the Foster Art Gallery in Patterson Hall. A reception will include a gallery talk by Totin at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Opera Westminster will present "La Vendetta" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 5, in Orr Auditorium. The program is open and free to the public.

MCGILL LIBRARY HOSTING STORY TIME NOW TO APRIL 30
The Westminster College McGill Library will host Story Time at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesdays now until April 30. Story Time is free and open to preschoolers and children of all ages.

MCGILL LIBRARY TO HOLD USED BOOK SALE ENDS APRIL 4
The Westminster College McGill Library will hold its annual used book sale until noon Friday April 4, during regular library hours. Paperbacks will be sold for $1 and hardcover books for $2. The book sale is open to the public.
The library opens at 7:30 a.m. Friday, April 4.

MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS FOR SNAKES, BUTTERBEANS, AND THE DISCOVERY OF ELECTRICITY
Theatre Westminster will present the final production of the academic year - Snakes, Butterbeans, and the Discovery of Electricity - at 7:30 p.m. April 3-5 and 2:30 p.m. April 6.
The show is inspired by Westminster Professor Emeritus of English Dr. Jim Perkins' book of short stories by the same name, which takes a look back at a childhood in 1940s Kentucky.
Tickets are free to Westminster students, faculty and staff: 1 ticket per student, 2 tickets per faculty or staff member.
$10 for the general public, $7 for non-Westminster students and seniors.
