NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College selected Dr. Jamie McMinn to serve as the associate dean of academic affairs, beginning Jan. 2, 2014.
McMinn is an associate professor of psychology and currently the interim director of Adult & Graduate Studies. McMinn joined Westminster in 2003. He earned an undergraduate degree from Emory & Henry College and a master's degree and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. His training is in group processes and dynamics.
McMinn's responsibilities will include leading departmental and academic unit assessment efforts, including program competencies, program assessment plan, yearly program assessment report, and academic program review; leading off-campus study efforts along with faculty committees; working with the registrar to oversee course scheduling; and working with the Faculty Development Committee and overseeing the administrative duties of the committee.
