NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Celebrity Series will present a sold out performance by Straight No Chaser Monday, Oct. 29, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
Originally formed over a dozen years ago while students together at Indiana University, the 10-man cappella group has reassembled and reemerged with a massive fan base. They have had over 35 million views on YouTube, and were featured on the "Generation YouTube" episode of 20/20 and on PBS.
Straight No Chaser performs modern pop classics and old favorites, including Weezer's "Buddy Holly;" Madonna's "Like A Prayer;" Temptations' "Get Ready;" and pairings of Plain White T's "Rhythm of Love" with Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love," and Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" with Bell Biv Devoe's "Poison."
