The Westminster College Celebrity Series will welcome "America's Got Talent" finalists The Texas Tenors in concert Saturday, March 24, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
The trio of classically trained tenors brings their unique blend of gospel, country, classical, and Broadway songs to the stage with humor and charm. Their debut CD, Country Roots/Classical Sound, is the only album to reach the top of both the country and classical charts, as tracked by CD Baby, the world's largest distributor of independent music. Visit The Texas Tenors for additional information about the group.
"The Texas Tenors have quickly risen to superstar status and are taking the country by storm," said Connie McGinnis, Celebrity Series director. "We are very excited to welcome seven tour buses bringing over 350 people into Lawrence County to see this show. People who have seen The Texas Tenors perform on cruise ships or in Vegas are excited to see them again and are spreading the word that this is a show not to miss. We expect a sellout."
