The Westminster College Department of Psychology will host Dr. Brian P. Meier for its fall colloquium Friday, Nov. 6, at 11:40 a.m. in Phillips Lecture Hall of Hoyt Science Resources Center.
Meier, an assistant professor at Gettysburg College, will present "A Metaphor-Enriched Psychology."
Meier is a social psychologist who studies how people use metaphors to understand abstract concepts such as God, the devil, time, and emotion.
The program is free and open to the public.
