NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Opera Westminster will present "La Vendetta" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 5, in Orr Auditorium. The program is open and free to the public.
Westminster students will perform scenes from Don Giovanni, Don Pasquale, II Barbiere di Siviglia, Falstaff, Gianni Schicchi, Le Nozze di Figaro, II Trovatore and Die Fledermaus.
The event is coordinated by stage director Dr. Anne Hagan Bentz, Westminster associate professor of music, and orchestra conductor Mihai Vilcu, Westminster adjunct music faculty. Marie Libal-Smith, adjunct music faculty, is the pianist. An orchestra of Westminster faculty, students, and guest musicians will provide instrumental support.
