NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Theatre Westminster will present The Drowsy Chaperone Oct. 31-Nov 4 in Beeghly Theater.
The multi-Tony Award winning musical premiered on Broadway in 2006. The story begins when a die-hard musical-theatre fan plays his favorite cast album on his turntable, and the musical literally bursts to life in his living room, telling the rambunctious tale of a brazen Broadway starlet trying to find, and keep, her true love.
Curtain time Wednesday-Saturday is 7:30 p.m.; Sunday's matinee is at 2:30 p.m. Reservations can be made online by following the "ticket reserve" link at www.westminster.edu/drama. Prices for general admission adults are $15, and senior citizens and non-Westminster students are $10.
