The program contains music from Handel, Bach, Maleingreau, Riegger, Jongen, and “Four Organ Psalms” by Zimmerman.
Ocock served on the Westminster College faculty from 1956 until retiring in 1993. Since that time he has been an adjunct professor at Westminster and Thiel Colleges. He earned his undergraduate degree from Westminster College, and masters’ from Union Theological Seminary, Case Western Reserve, and the University of Missouri.
Ocock has served as organist in churches in Youngstown Ohio, and since 1979 has been the organist and choir director of the First Presbyterian Church in Sharon. He has been the official organist of the Chautauqua Institution, and was on the faculty of the Sessione Senese per La Musica el’Arte in Italy for 12 summers. He has been active in the American Guild of Organists, and served as dean of both the Youngstown and Pittsburgh. He was recently granted an honorary membership in the Presbyterian Association of Musicians.
