Under the direction of Dr. R. Tad Greig, the Westminster group will perform a half hour prior to Ferguson, who has been playing with big band and combos for over 50 years.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our Jazz Ensemble to step up to a new audience, and also to be heard by such a renowned artist,” Greig said.
The event is open to the public. Tickets for this event may be purchased by contacting the Niles High School at (330) 652-0757.
Contact Greig at (724) 946-7279 or e-mail greigrt@westminster.edu for more information about Westminster ensembles.
