Women’s Tennis: Titans Remain Undefeated After 8-1 Win at Waynesburg

WAYNESBURG, Pa. - The Westminster College women's tennis team remained undefeated for the season after an 8-1 win at Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Waynesburg on Tuesday.

The Titans improved to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the PAC, while the Yellow Jackets dropped to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

Titan sophomore Sydney Sterner (Imperial, PA / West Allegheny) won no. 1 singles, 7-6 (3), 6-3. Classmate Mariah Turiano (Hollidaysburg, PA / Hollidaysburg) teamed up with first-year Gabby Eaborn (Coraopolis, PA / West Allegheny) for an 8-2 win at no. 1 doubles.

Westminster will host Geneva on Friday at 4 p.m. for its home opener.
